Community Helper Month at Great Strides Rehab ✨🚒

Our Mandarin clinic had some very special visitors this week! Local firefighters stopped by with their fire truck, giving our kids the opportunity to explore the truck up close, sit in the driver’s seat, and even try on real firefighting equipment.

The smiles, excitement, and curiosity were priceless. Experiences like this not only spark imagination, but also help our kids build confidence while learning about the helpers who keep our community safe.

We are so grateful to our local firemen and women for taking the time to create such a meaningful, hands-on experience for our kiddos. ❤️

Sharing some special moments from this month’s feeding sessions at Great Strides Rehab in Orange Park. 💛
Through play, exploration, and lots of encouragement, our clients are learning about new foods and building stronger feeding skills every day.

✨ Making a silly face with food helped one child interact with wet textures for the very first time—an incredible milestone!
✨ Another client explored new foods while laughing and creating his own silly face.
✨ Others worked on fine motor skills and texture exploration by building a fun food rocket ship through play.

Every small step is a big victory, and we’re so proud of the progress happening in feeding therapy. 🚀🍓
