Last night, we had the joy of welcoming the First Coast Pops Orchestra, a talented 65-piece volunteer ensemble to The Fountains! 🎶

It was a truly beautiful evening filled with music and community. A heartfelt thank you to the orchestra for sharing their talents, and to our wonderful residents and family members, 117 of you in total! For coming out and making the night so special. 🩵

Our last Dinner Club of the year was nothing short of a hit! A spaghetti western inspired evening complete with country tunes, good laughs, and even more amazing food.

It’s bittersweet wrapping up our final Dinner Club until January, but we couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out the year.

Next up, the holidays! 🎄🦃 We’re ready for all the Thanksgiving feasts and Christmas cheer just around the corner.

Did you see us? Our women’s basketball team was featured on First Coast News during the Ask Anthony segment! 🎥🙌

The spotlight was on how this amazing group got started, the journey they’ve taken together, and the incredible leadership of their coach Rudy who’s been there every step of the way. 💪

It might look simple to most, but it’s been such a joy to witness this team’s growth and hard.

We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where their passion takes them next!

I got one of those calls....the kind that makes you pause, smile, and say, “Wait… WHAT?”

A former Harlem Globetrotter (that's him on the left) is living at The Fountains at Mill Cove in Jacksonville. Since April, he’s been teaching the other residents, mostly women, how to play basketball.

And now… they’ve got a team.

I can't wait to share this story with you on Thursday at 6pm on First Coast News. It reminded me it's never too late to learn something new.
