Doris Leneall Bush-Chase was born on October 10, 1941, to Lynn and Emma B. Bush in Jacksonville, Texas. She attended Jacksonville schools and graduated from Fred Douglass High School in 1960. She transitioned on December 31, 2025.

To our very own Jefferson-Hogg family, thank you for entrusting us with the care of our beloved cousin, Vickie. This service was a difficult one for our hearts, but it was truly an honor to serve her and to walk alongside our family during this time.
Vickie was a woman of grace, strength, and unmistakable style. From her love for her handbags to the red lipstick she was so well known for, every detail reflected who she was. It meant so much to us to honor her life in a way that was true to her spirit because details matter, and she mattered.
To our family: we love you deeply. Please know that we are here not only today, but in the days, months, and years to come. Our support, our prayers, and our love do not end with the service.🕊️🌹💄
