When 2-year-old Emily was diagnosed with a rare, large, brain tumor, her parents, Sarah and Jahdyn, were grateful to have been referred to the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. Coming from Australia, where Emily was the first child to be diagnosed with this rare tumor, was a big deal for the family.

Thankfully, Emily responded very well to the proton therapy treatment. Her parents shared, "The fact that they share this technology with the world is such a great, amazing thing". Listen to their inspiring story shared with News 104.5 WOKV right here: https://bit.ly/48MQtWc
