When disasters strike, compassion often comes first — but coordination must come next.
Having deployed both across the U.S. and internationally, I’ve witnessed how unsolicited donations and self-deployment can quickly create “a disaster within a disaster.” Well-meaning efforts can overwhelm logistics, delay aid, and burden the very communities we’re trying to help.

As Jamaica braces for a hurricane impact, please connect with reputable organizations already on the ground. Trained responders and established relief agencies know the needs, the system, and the safest ways to serve effectively.

Let’s channel generosity into coordination, not chaos.

🌍❤️ We’re back from the Dominican Republic!
What an incredible week serving alongside our partners at Casas por Cristo — building homes, teaching CPR & First Aid at a local school, hosting a medical and vision clinic, and delivering 50 first aid kits to families in the community.

We were blessed to encourage local missionaries, pastors, and families, and to witness the lasting impact of the Casas homes throughout the area.

🌍 We’ll be away—but exactly where we’re meant to be.
Compass CPR & Safety Solutions will be closed the week of October 20–25, 2025, as we head to the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 on mission.

Our team will be partnering with and to:
🏠 Help build homes for families in need
Teach First Aid and deliver kits to a local school and community
👁️ Host a wellness and vision clinic

The JWJ College Prep Volleyball team (and one awesome parent!) took their CPR | AED training seriously — learning how to respond to choking, perform high-quality CPR, and use an AED on infants, youth, and adults. 💪
