Behavior change is very complicated and challenging because it requires a person to disrupt a current habit while at the same time adopting a new, possibly unfamiliar one with a new set of actions.

This is a time-consuming process and most of us do not have the patience for it!

Something as simple as drinking an extra cup of water a day can take an average of two months to become a consistent, new habit.

Keeping in mind that setback happens and you need to have a plan for when it happens.

Consider reflecting on these three questions could prove to be a powerful strategy to get back on track:

1. What did I learn from this setback?
2. What needs to happen to get back into action?
3. How do you want to treat yourself while working toward change?

Read labels to be assured that what you are buying...you're getting! Don't be fooled by the marketing on the front of the label. Look for verified organic and nongmo labels!
