just about caring for the mental and physical needs of patients. We also work with families to teach them how to care for themselves while caring for their loved ones.
As a growing number of patients are discharged from the hospital quickly, with more complex medical needs, the role of Home Health is expanding. Today, home care nurses care for very sick patients who require extremely skilled high-tech nursing care at home.
Home care provides highly skilled nurses, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, as well as social workers and home health aides.
In many cases, home care is the right choice for a patient who needs extra help after they leave the hospital. Patients can recover in the comfort and privacy of their own home and are less likely to develop infections at home.
