Sylvia came to Riverside Post Acute weak and unable to stand following a stroke. With the help of our therapy team, Andrew, and Physical Medicine Physician, Dr. Dany El-Hajjar, she is now able to stand and is making great progress towards her goal of walking independently.

Riverside Post Acute welcomes Joe Deem, R.T., to the team to keep our patients !

With a decade of experience in the acute care setting as a Patient Care Tech, Joe recently returned to school to pursue Respiratory Therapy, inspired by his own experience living with asthma and a desire to provide compassionate care to others.

We are happy to have Joe support our RespiraCare program, strengthening the respiratory care we provide and helping our patients breathe easier every day.

We are celebrating another Riverside Post-Acute !

Ms. Barbara Perry was admitted at the end of November after a stay at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, arriving with a new DVT diagnosis, generalized weakness, and a medical history of coronary artery disease and hypertension.

She chose Riverside Post Acute for our 4.7 Google rating, beautiful riverfront location by St. Vincent’s Riverside, exciting renovations, and the instant connection she felt with our team member—a fellow Jersey girl!

Since then, Ms. Perry has made incredible progress. She’s strong enough to enjoy outings again, including church and Bible study, and she calls our therapy team “the best.” She’s even recommended us to a family member!

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. We’re so proud of her hard work and our amazing team behind it!
