Dr. Yamilette Lopez is a chiropractor in Jacksonville, FL providing quality chiropractic care and healthcare options to the members of the Jacksonville community and surrounding areas. Dr. Yamy is a native from Puerto Rico where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Microbiology and pursued her Masters Degree in Bioengineering. While working towards her degree, Dr. Yamy knew she wanted to actively educate and help people achieve a better quality of life through health and wellness. As part of a military family stationed in Jacksonville, she seized the opportunity of becoming a Chiropractor to actively achieve this goal. She tackled a daily four hour commute to Palmer College of Chiropractic located in Port Orange for four years while mothering her three young daughters and juggling the challenges of deployment. While in school, she was excited to learn in depth the intricate processes of the human body, particularly the way the nervous system controls every detail of body functions.
At this time, Dr. Yamy is pursuing a Certification in Pediatric Chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. This dives into the unique needs of children’s development and childhood neurosensory disorders. She is a certified doula and has a certification in Webster Technique which is applied while providing prenatal care. She continues education every year to better serve her Spanish and English speaking communities.
Dr. Yamy is proficient in multiple hands-on chiropractic techniques that focus on treating auto injuries, lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, muscle pain, sciatic pain, arthritis, poor posture and more. She understands what we do as a chiropractic physician is to help influence and contribute to the properly function of the body’s nervous system and allow to maximize its own healing abilities.
Vitality Family Chiropractic and Wellness Center is a family oriented practice with extra training to service different groups: auto injury, pediatric, prenatal, adult, geriatric, sports injury. Our mission is to enable health and well-being by serving the whole patient structurally, nutritionally and energetically.
