Today, Ashlyn brought her very own alphabet book from home and excitedly wanted to read it to me 🅰️🅱️✨. Even though she’s a shy and quiet learner 🤍🌸, that didn’t stop her curiosity, bravery, and love for learning from shining through 🌟

These sweet one-on-one moments with Ashlyn are what make teaching so special 🥹💫. They may seem like small steps 👣, but they are building a strong foundation for reading that will support her confidence, self-determination, and lifelong love for books 📖

Today was such a BIG moment! 🥹✨ We knew we had given Rorie all the basics for her pre-reading skills, so this afternoon we challenged her to read a few sentences she had never seen before 😮➡️📖
And guess what?! SHE DID IT! 🎉👏

This is the first time we’ve seen Rorie read not just individual words, but actual short sentences 🧠✨📚 What an incredible milestone!

Way to go, Rorie — we always knew you could do it! 💪💛 You listen so carefully to every new reading concept we introduce and practice, practice, practice until you’ve mastered it 🥰📝⭐

👀✨ Theme Focus: The Five Senses – SIGHT

We’re continuing our exciting journey through The Five Senses, and this week we focused on Sight! 🧠💡 We talked about how our eyes don’t just help us see, but also help us learn, explore, and understand the world around us. 🌍📚

🎨 In the art center, our little learners got creative by coloring and making their very own binoculars! 🖍️🔭 They loved them so much that they carried the fun into child-directed pretend play, using their binoculars to explore, imagine, and discover. 🧒🏽👧🏽✨

Learning through play + creativity = lots of smiles and growth! 💕🌈👏

📚🚌✨ MILIZO Little Learners Library Adventure! ✨🚌📚

On a sunny but chilly day ☀️❄️, our MILIZO Little Learners hopped on the bus 🚌 and headed to the library for story time with the amazing Ms. Courtney 📖💛

We had SO much fun shaking eggs to musical songs 🎶🥚, listening to wonderful stories all about Narwhal whales 🐳🦄, and getting creative with paint 🎨✨ as we made our very own narwhal masterpieces!

Laughter 😂, learning 🧠, music 🎵, and creativity 🎨 filled the day, making it a trip to remember! We can’t wait for our next adventure! 💙📚🐋

Watching Rorie write random spelling words with so much confidence makes my heart burst. 🥹✨✏️📖 Before we know it, she’ll be reading beginner books all by herself.📚🌟💖 So incredibly proud of her amazing achievements! 🎉👏🧠💕

***When we record our videos 🎥, we simply ask the kids if they’d like to be on Facebook and what they want to do 😊🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️. Then the camera starts rolling ▶️📸—no rehearsal, no pressure ✨. We get what we get, and it’s not always perfect 🤍, but that’s the beauty of it 🌈. It’s all about celebrating their achievements 🏆👏 and their love for learning 📚🧠💖.

Today we read the book, “Five Senses: Sight”and talked about why our eyes are so important 👁️💬. In the art center, the children used mirrors 🪞 to check their eye colors 💙🤎💚 and created a giant eye art 🎨👁️.
