New Path is hiring!
We are looking for a licensed mental health provider to join our practice! We offer the flexibility and independence of private practice combined with the support of an established clinic! New Path Psychology is a small practice with a focus on providing mental health services for veterans and active-duty service members. Seeking a licensed provider with a passion for helping others! Work can be full or part-time, depending on your availability and preferences. Our goal is to provide excellent services to our clients, while also providing a supportive and balanced work environment for our providers and staff. Pay will depend on the specific license/degree, and the number of hours worked. We provide the office, scheduling, reception, billing, and other associated services; you provide the clinical skills and caring for others!

Really good article about pandemic-related grief and loss. "People often have a vague sense of anxiety or wordless suffering"

Psychologists point to ways we can heal during the pandemic, which has led to a series of losses, from our sense of safety to our social connections to our financial security.

Thinking of all the veterans today (and their spouses/families who also sacrifice and serve.) We are deeply grateful.

Just a quick reminder: three of the basic ingredients for good mental health are (1) social interactions/connections (at a safe distance for now) (2) decent food/nutrition (including adequate protein, veggies of various colors, moderation if consuming alcohol and other sugars) and (3) adequate exercise with sunlight exposure (a good goal: try for a 15-20 minute walk daily, in the sunshine if possible). :-)
