Scammers are getting bolder, and they are targeting seniors.

If someone calls you and asks for your credit card number, banking information, or payment over the phone, hang up. It does not matter who they say they are.

Real healthcare companies do not call demanding payment by credit card. Banks do not ask for your full card number. Government agencies do not threaten you for immediate payment.

Slow down. Call the company back using the number on their official website or on paperwork you already have.

Please share this. One post could protect someone’s life savings.

🌟 Meet Jon Stiffler, PTA - Orthopedic Care Coordinator! 🌟

Jon is a dedicated treating therapist and the Orthopedic Care Coordinator for the Orthopedic Service Line at Choice Matters Home Healthcare. With over 13 1/2 years of experience, he previously served as a Site Coordinator and treating therapist at Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute Rehabilitation for 10 1/2 years and spent 2 1/2 years as the Practice Manager for the Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute Beaches Division Physician Office.

Throughout his career at JOI, Jon treated orthopedic patients, supervised clinicians in orthopedic care, and managed specialized service lines such Orthopedic Sports and Performance services and Orthopedic Spine Center services. Jon also managed multi-faceted administrative and clinical teams within the JOI Beaches Division Physician Office.

Jon’s transition from practice management back to direct patient care brought him to Choice Matters, where he combines his expertise in rehabilitation and orthopedic practice administration to provide exceptional care.

Jon is passionate about fostering seamless collaboration between the Choice Matters Ortho Team and orthopedic providers to deliver the highest level of orthopedic care. He understands the vital role home health plays in the rehabilitation journey and is dedicated to redefining the home health experience. His mission is to make home health an integral part of healing and recovery, helping patients achieve better outcomes and a more patient-centered recovery—whether they’re orthopedic or non-orthopedic rehabilitation patients.

Justin is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with Choice Matters Home Healthcare. Originally from New Jersey, he studied at Keiser University here in Jacksonville, Florida, and has truly fallen in love with the community.

Shortly after graduating, Justin had the opportunity to work in New York during the pandemic, where he discovered his passion for working closely with patients one on one to help them reach their goals. He then focused on specializing in home healthcare, bringing his skills and compassion to the Choice Matters team.

While Justin treats a variety of patients, he is also a proud member of our elite Choice Matters Ortho Team, where he collaborates with orthopedic surgeons and other Choice Matters clinicians across Northeast Florida to deliver exceptional care to the region’s orthopedic patients.
