We had a great day at the Clarence R. Kelly Senior Center in Gainesville! We spent time connecting with more than 20 community members through activities, education, and meaningful conversations around advance care planning and the role of hospice. In celebration of the upcoming Easter weekend, participants also created crosses to take home.

Heartbeat Legacy is a meaningful initiative within our music therapy program that brings together Music Therapists and Child Life Specialists to create lasting connections through sound and memory.

By capturing a patient’s heartbeat and transforming it into a meaningful keepsake, they help families hold onto love, memories, and moments that last a lifetime. Through compassion, creativity, and collaboration, this work offers a deeply personal way to honor each patient’s story.
