Productive trip to PHX preparing for Brooks Rehabilitation opening in AZ. Great things are already happening in Phoenix, AZ, and better things are coming yet! Finished another wonderful year of PM&R Residency interviews for the Mayo/Brooks PM&R Residency Program. Tremendously impressed with this year's candidates: the amount of accomplishments, dedication & perseverance, and overall aptitude. Super excited to start RESTORE stroke study at Brooks Rehabilitation. This deep brain stimulation technology by Enspire DBS Therapy, Inc. showed very promising results for patients with chronic post stroke hemiparesis. This study is conducted in collaboration with Dr. Sanjeet Grewal of Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and Dr. Andre Machado, MD, PhD at the Cleveland Clinic.
