Faculty Highlight ✨

Meet Mara C. Weinstein Velez, M.D., FAAD (), a board-certified dermatologist and Fellowship-trained Cosmetic and Laser Surgeon at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She completed her fellowship at SkinCare Physicians in Boston with Harvard and Yale faculty and brings extensive expertise in lasers, minimally invasive cosmetic treatments, and acne therapies.

A published author and national speaker, Dr. Weinstein has been recognized with awards including the Excellence in Teaching Award and the WDS Mentorship Award, and was recently selected for the ASDS Future Leaders Network.

We’re thrilled to have her as part of the faculty!

Meet Julie C. Harper, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and nationally recognized expert in acne and rosacea. A Founding Director and Past President of the American Acne and Rosacea Society, Dr. Harper has also served on the AAD Acne Work Group helping shape national treatment guidelines. She is a published author and sought-after speaker with a deep commitment to dermatologic education and patient care.
