Robert Allen King, 28 years old, of Jacksonville, AR passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, due to a car accident. He was born on March 27, 1997, in Little Rock, AR to Rodger and Tina King. Robbie graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2015.

Robbie was loved by everyone. He loved his family dearly. Robbie had a kind heart and a free soul that could not be caged. He enjoyed life to the fullest and made every day count. Robbie was wise beyond his years, with a brain full of ideas and plans.

Robbie is preceded in death by Grandfathers Jimmy Shandy, Bruce Bell, and Joseph King. Also, several aunts and uncles.

Richard William Giroux “Rickster” or “Ricky”, 69, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Searcy, Arkansas. Born on May 19, 1956, in Burlington, Vermont, Richard lived a life marked by hard work, deep connections with family and friends, and a spirit of generosity that touched everyone who knew him.

Richard was a man of many talents and trades. Over the years, he built a diverse career that reflected his strong work ethic and love for hands-on labor. From running lawn care services to working in concrete and paving, from loading and unloading ships and barges to dredging canals—he did it all. As a heavy equipment operator, he found true joy in his work and took pride in every job he undertook.

He was known not only for his industrious nature but also for his vibrant personality. Whether he was playing Bingo or heading out on a hunting trip, Richard embraced life with enthusiasm.

Shirley Louise DeVice went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born on November 28, 1949, in Bonita, Louisiana, to the late William Clent Rogers Sr. and Bessie Morrow Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, James Rogers Sr. and Clent Rogers Jr.; and her sister, Dorlese Sanson.

Shirley is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Philip DeVice; daughters, Shelly Boyett and Cindy (Kevin) Ambeau; brother, Wayne (Annette) Rogers; and sisters, Kay Rogers and Joyce Rogers. She was a loving grandmother to Lauren (Tucker) Leech, Laci (Tyler) Tarrant, Lake (Alexis) Boyett, and Jake (Tristan) Ambeau. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Waylon Leech, Bayler Tarrant, Camryn Boyett, Braidy Tarrant, Walker Leech, Marlee Skaggs, and Wynnie Leech, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Shirley was the true definition of a matriarch.

Beverley Christine Mctyer, age 58, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on October 24, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1967 in Smith County, Texas to her parents Ted Eddy and Shirley Mae Brashers.

Beverley is preceded in death by her parents, sister June Wood, and brothers Jerry Eddy and Teddy Guy Eddy.

She is survived by her children Candace Wood, James Counts, and Mika Wood; grandchildren Lakynn Wood, Jaedyn Johnson, Anthony Counts, Aurora Counts, Phillip Counts, Luke Counts, and Raven Counts; two brothers Ricky Eddy and Robert Eddy; along with a lot of other wonderful nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and loved them as her own.

A family-hosted celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 5:00-7:00pm at Christ Worship Center located at 105 W. Myrtle St., Cabot, Arkansas 72023.
