A typical Monday where all day was spent listening 👂, empathizing 🤗, measuring and re-measuring 📏, planning 🧠, explaining 🗣️, and custom-designing surgical techniques 👁️‍🗨️ for Worldwide patients who arrived labeled “impossible.” ✈️🌍

#2026 Christmas to New Years:

The decorations are still up, the house is quieter, and our kids have flown back to their lives.

Starting with sending off our Worldwide patients flying back home with Vision restored, our traditional visit to the Church (since childhood) on Christmas Eve, Kids landing in town, opening gifts galore, dinners together, movies, Porsche drives, and my routine of buying food from local businesses and handing them to other local businesses and watching their surprise and smile as the real gifts of the season.

Then New Year's party hopping with friends.

Already missing our kids — but carrying the warmth of those moments forward.
