Chapin Home for the Aging was founded in Manhattan in 1869 by Mrs. Twenty other dedicated women joined in an enterprise based on Dr. Chapin's philosophy of "What is your need, not your creed." Chapin has been serving the New York City/Long Island community at its Jamaica location since 1912. Chapin has grown to a 220-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with a 50-registrant Adult Day Health Care Center.

Last month, we celebrated heart health month the Chapin way! We are spotlighting the incredible people who keep our community thriving.

From our dedicated Rehab team and Nursing staff to our Administrator and Medical Director, every department plays a vital role in providing top-tier care.

Everyone came together to focus on cardiovascular health. We've been busy making "Pledges to my Heart," learning prevention tips, and even testing our luck with a "Kisses in the Jar" guessing game!
