Becky Kuss, APRN, CNP, PMHNP, has proudly dedicated over 16 years to the field of mental health. Through her private practice at Inspired Healthcare in Jamestown, she provides compassionate, evidence-based medication therapy to support individuals on their journey toward mental wellness.

Becky believes in the power of hope and the importance of patient-focused care. She emphasizes being proactive in both mental and physical health, empowering her patients to take an active role in their well-being.

Everyone deserves a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who listens, supports, and truly cares — and that’s the kind of provider Becky strives to be every day.

Becky earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010, followed by her Master of Science as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2017. She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Outside of work, Becky enjoys attending her daughter’s athletic events, relaxing on vacations near the ocean, savoring a good cup of black coffee, and listening to murder mystery podcasts.

I am a lifelong resident of North Dakota, spending most of my life in Valley City, where I currently reside. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Dakota State University in 2008 and went on to complete my master’s degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing in May 2025.

Now a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan. I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their journey toward healing.

I integrate medication management with supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle education, and a holistic understanding of mental wellness. I have experience treating a wide variety of psychiatric conditions, including depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and sleep concerns. With over twelve years of experience as a nurse manager on a long-term psychiatric unit, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to my practice. My goal is to help patients build resilience, restore balance, and find healing.
