I will be leading a Yin Class at Innerlight in Middletown RI tomorrow at 2PM. Join me for a relaxing yet challenging practice.

Yin yoga is about entering into the asana and staying a while.

Remaining in the asana for 2 to 3 minutes allows the deeper muscle groups and fascia tissue to release.

A Power Vinyasa class might be a 100 meter sprint. The Yin practice is endurance training.

The breath allows you to stay a while and find the ease.

The deeper muscle groups and the tendons love the change up.

A week from today I will host a candlelight Yin Yoga Practice at beautiful Shepard’s Run. Practice begins at 4:30 ending around 5:45 with just enough time for a complementary glass of wine.
Plan to join me next week at 4780 Tower Hill Road, South Kingstown- behind Prout school athletic fields.

A wonderful way to end your weekend.

If you have not yet stumbled upon Shepard's Run, January is the time to pay a visit. I will participate in their Wellness PoP Up Series teaching YIN on January 9th at 4:30 by Candle Light.

Join me for YIN/YANG yoga at the Island Heron in Jamestown Rhode Island. On Tuesadays at 9:00 I teach a YIN practice with a short and gentle VInyasa Flow. We return to the mat for a few more Yin postures and then on to savasana. (ahhhhhhh)
The Island Heron is located in Jamestown at 34 Narragansett Avenue.

The Island Heron is offering live feed yoga classes. All classes are available to participate in at the time of the class. For your convenience you have the option to ‘own’ the class for 48 hours and enjoy it at your convenience. There is a great selection of classes and teachers.
