Ready, set, LEARN! It's back to school season and Family Service would like to remind you about Healthy Mental & Emotional Well-Being!

Talk about feelings — Encourage open conversations about stress, anxiety, and friendships.

Set realistic routines — Consistent wake-up, homework, and bedtime schedules reduce anxiety.

Check in regularly — Ask about their day and listen without judgment.

Watch for signs of stress — Changes in mood, appetite, or sleep may signal they need extra support.

Encourage screen-time balance — Limit late-night scrolling to protect sleep and mental health.

Let us make this school year a great one, together… lesson learned!

We’re deeply grateful to Blue Cross Blue Shield for their generous support of our Psychology Intern Program! This funding helps train future psychologists and ensures local families can access much-needed psychological testing without long wait times or long trips out of the county. Partnerships like this strengthen mental health resources right here at home — thank you for investing in our community!

Such a joy to be part of the Memory Café at the Reg Lenna Center For The Arts today! Our Executive Director, Carey Lee, shared about our House Calls program—which brings counseling right to the homes of older adults and their caregivers.

The Memory Café at the Reg is a free arts program for people experiencing forgetfulness, meeting the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Today's group was led by Deb Eck of Pearl City Clay House. What a great event! To RSVP for future groups, either email RSVP@RegLenna.com or call 716-484-7070.

🍗What’s a Meat Raffle? 🍖

-Events run in “rounds.” Before each round, ticket sellers offer raffle tickets for $2–$3 each (bring $1 bills!).
-Each ticket has three numbers—if the wheel lands on yours, you win meat for that spin.
