Residents enjoyed creating festive winter-themed decorations for the December crafting class with Sharon.

Special holiday performances by the talented teenager choirs of Quakertown High School, Holicong Middle School, Unami Middle School, and Tamanend Middle School occurred throughout December. We had so much fun as they serenaded us with their harmonies and familiar songs of the season.

This past weekend, Resident Association President Henry V., Executive Director Wendy Petro, and Joan Myers, COO of Liberty Lutheran, presented holiday gifts from Liberty Lutheran and our generous residents to current Manor employees. Three employees were also recognized for their numerous Fish Cards, in which they were “caught” performing above and beyond their duties. And two employees were recognized for milestone years of service. After the presentation, all attendees mingled and enjoyed delicious hoagies generously provided by the Residents’ Association.

Lead Housekeeper, Crafter, and Philanthopist, Sharon, created elegantly designed earrings for the holidays. The jewelry sale brought in close to $500 for the Mattie Dixon Food Pantry!

Last week, current and future Manor residents celebrated the holidays with an elegant Christmas Cocktail Hour. We sipped our wine, sampled delicious hors d'oeuvres, and enjoyed the festive sounds of our own pianist Trudy, on our grand piano. What a wonderful time of the year to be at The Manor!🎄
