👀👀 Something new is growing at 4433 Woodgate Drive!

Beyond Salt Spa and Sacred Peace Yoga & Wellness are expanding, and we’re hiring.

We’re looking for massage therapists, aestheticians, and aligned wellness practitioners who feel called to be part of a space rooted in community, embodiment, and connection.

This is about stepping into a space where people come to reconnect with themselves, and where practitioners are supported in doing the work they care about.

We have an established, loyal client base that’s asking for more:
More support.
More services.
More ways to feel better in their bodies.

And we’re ready to meet that.

If you’re someone who values presence in your work, who cares about growth, and who wants to be part of something that’s building and evolving in a meaningful way, we’d love to connect.

Send your information to christine@beyondsaltspa.com

Let’s see what we can create together.

CLOSING EARLY TODAY

With the storms rolling through again, we’re listening and choosing to close early.

Beyond Salt Spa will be closing early today to keep our team and community safe.

If you have an appointment scheduled that is affected, we’ll be in touch.

Take this as a moment to slow down, stay safe, and take care of yourself.

Allergies in kids don’t always look the way we expect.

It’s not just sneezing.

It’s the constant sniffles that never fully go away.
The cough that lingers.
The mouth breathing.
The dark circles under their eyes.
The “why are they always so tired?” feeling.

Their little bodies are working overtime trying to clear what they’re reacting to.

And just like adults, their systems can get stuck in overdrive.

That’s where support matters.

Dry salt therapy helps break up mucus, reduce inflammation, and create space in the airways so their bodies don’t have to work so hard just to breathe.

It’s gentle.
It’s natural.
And for a lot of families, it becomes part of how they support their kids through allergy season instead of just pushing through it.

Because it’s not about shutting the body down…
it’s about helping it do what it’s already trying to do, just with more ease.

Real talk:
How do you know when your child needs more support… and not just more time to “get over it”?

We love having fun around here, and truly… no question is a silly question.

I hear it all the time, “I’ve heard of you,” or “someone told me salt therapy could help me,” but there’s this pause around where to even begin.

That’s exactly why we’re here.

To meet you, greet you, and walk you through it in a way that actually makes sense for you. No pressure. No overwhelm. Just real conversation and real support.

Real talk: what’s actually stopping you from walking in and seeing if this could help you?

Allergies aren’t just “annoying.”
They’re your body in protection mode.

When your system senses something like pollen, dust, or dander, it releases histamine.
That’s what creates the inflammation, the swelling, the mucus, the pressure in your sinuses.

Your body isn’t failing you. It’s trying to defend you.

But when that response gets overactive,
you feel it everywhere.

Congestion
Sneezing
Watery eyes
That heavy, inflamed feeling in your chest and head

This is where salt therapy comes in.

Dry salt works by helping to break up mucus, reduce inflammation, and support the body in clearing out what it’s reacting to.
It creates space in the airways so your body doesn’t have to work so hard just to breathe.

It’s not about forcing your body to stop reacting. It’s about supporting it so it doesn’t have to stay in overdrive.

Real talk:
What has your body been trying to clear or protect you from lately that you keep pushing through instead of supporting?

There’s something really powerful happening in the space this week.

Friday morning we start before the world fully wakes up with the Salty Stride Run Group. You move your body, connect, and come back to warmth, coffee, and community. It’s simple, but it lands.

And then Saturday… we go inward.

Angie is back with her Reclamation Event. This isn’t just something you attend, it’s something you feel. A space to be seen, to release what isn’t yours, and to come back to yourself in a real, embodied way.

Two different experiences, same intention… coming back to you.

Real talk: where are you craving connection, but still holding yourself at a distance?

This week I had the opportunity to support the employees in the School District of Janesville at their employee benefits fair, and I truly had so much fun.

I brought my traveling salt tent and got to meet educators and the people who support the very system my own children are a part of, which felt really special.

The very first person who sat in the salt said, “Wow… I had a headache before and it’s gone.”
She shared that with everyone who walked in after her, and before I knew it, I had a wait all day.

Moments like that remind me why I care so deeply about this work. I genuinely want more people in this community to experience this—to breathe easier, feel better, and have simple, supportive tools for their bodies.

I especially love bringing this into spaces like workplaces and schools, where people are constantly pouring into others and rarely have a moment to receive themselves.

If you’re a local business and want your team to experience salt, I travel and create really supportive, easy events for groups.

I’d love to hear from you— what do you already know about salt therapy? Have you tried it, and if so, what do you love about it or how has it impacted you? What questions do you have, or what’s kept you from trying it so far?

When the body has been through something like influenza or pneumonia, it doesn’t always just “bounce back” when the medication is done.

There can still be lingering congestion, inflammation, and fatigue in the system.

That’s where therapies like infrared heat and dry salt come in.

Salt therapy can support the respiratory system by helping to break up mucus and open the airways, while infrared heat supports circulation and recovery at a deeper level.

Sometimes healing isn’t about doing more…
it’s about giving the body the right environment to do what it already knows how to do.

I can feel it in people right now…

The shift into spring, the pace picking back up, the body trying to catch up with it all.

This week inside the cave, we’re slowing it all down: Sound baths. Nervous system reset. Space to just be.

One event is already full… the rest are filling.

If you’ve been needing a place to land, this is it.
