May starts Brain cancer awareness month! Hopefully someday there is a cure. It remains a big problem. I read today that there are 5000 new cases between child and teens yearly. Can you image the numbers if we added adults?!?

Tony had MRI on Friday and we got report ALL CLEAR!! Last week marked 5 years since diagnosis. When we started this journey, the 5 years mark was the goal. Overall prognosis and survival after 5 years increases. Tony has challenges that will last life long, but he manages them well. He remains a funny, loving, jokester of a kiddo. We don’t know what the future holds but we do know we are going to enjoy every moment with this kid. Hopefully in the future they can find a cure, or better treatments with less long lasting side effects. Again thanks to our tribe that supported Tony and our family we could never get through this without your love and support.

Childhood cancer is not something anyone should have to face. Not only do we need a cure but we need better medications for kids that have their whole lives ahead of them. This month go Gold for for these superhero kiddos.❤️💛

Tony recently had mri which came back clean!!! We have one more 6 month mri then we go to yearly. We are coming up on the 5 year mark which for his cancer is a huge milestone. He was diagnosed with a side effect from treatment this year which was scary at first but game changer so far. He is now full of energy and growing with the new meds. He is enjoying summer and getting ready for 4th grade!!

Today starts Brain cancer awareness month. It’s a scary type of cancer for kids and adults. We gotta keep looking for better treatments and a cure. Go Gray in May!!
