💬 Tuesday Tip from Marigold Speech 💛
Avoid saying “Say ___” — and focus on real communication!
Instead of prompting a child to “say dog” or “say thank you,” try modeling the words naturally in conversation:
🐶 “Wow, it’s a big dog!”
🙏 “Thanks for helping me!”
This approach takes the pressure off and encourages functional communication — real words with real meaning and purpose. When communication feels natural, kids are more likely to join in, imitate, and connect. 💙
