You know what Monday means! A new Healthier Together Habit!
This week I am focusing on drinking a cup of warm lemon water first thing in the morning (before breakfast of coffee).

🍋Drinking warm lemon water is found in multiple holistic wellness traditions including Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine
🍋A cup of warm lemon water can help wake up and stimulate the digestive system allowing it to prepare to receive food and flush toxins and waste more smoothly
🍋It is a good way to hydrate, regulate blood sugar, and have a dose of Vitamin C

Make it your own by adding any of the following:

As we are wrapping up this week's 🌿 Healthier Together Habit 🤝 of 👣 Walking 15 minutes a day, here are some of the ways that I got my walk in, and some ways you can too!

☀🍁 Walk Outside: especially with the beautiful fall weather and colors the fresh air was a bonus to daily movement

🏠💼 Home. Work. In place. Marching in place, a free youtube walking video, or even circles around your living room count as walking!

🏋🏻‍♀️My partner and I like to walk the track at our local gym together. Walking and talking about our days. I also like to use a walking pad treadmill at home!

Temptation Bundling pairs a thing you want to do 💜with something you should do, ✅️ to trick your brain 🧠 into wanting to do the thing you should do! Plus it fuels the reward center 🏆 by treating you to something you like.
For me, Temptation Bundling is allowing myself to watch 🇫🇷🥐👗 ONLY if I'm walking!
It's the perfect indulgence and distraction, and the episodes are the perfect length to get a quick brisk walk in.
