The 2026 Open Enrollment for those who buy Health Insurance in the under 65 individual market is here!!
Health Insurance Open Enrollment is from November 1st-December 31st for a January 1, 2026 effective date and from January 1st-January 15th for a February 1,2026 effective date.
After this only government defined life events will allow for new coverage such as loss of group health coverage (left the job/quit) marriage/divorce, birth/adoption, or permanent move all within 60 days of the event to report.
Four carriers to choose from in 2026: Carefirst, Kaiser, United Healthcare and Wellpoint.
Federal advanced premium tax credits are still here for those that qualify, plus Maryland has added a state assistance program to off set the costs of healthcare in addition to the federal credits for individuals meeting tax credit guidelines.

Do you need to get on our schedule? Call us to schedule your free annual insurance review, we have appointments available Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and limited Saturday and Sunday appointments.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy 2025. We so appreciate all those who entrust their health care needs to us.

Please note your Brokers are taking a much needed break to enjoy Christmas with our family. Our office will be closed Monday December 23rd- Thursday December 26th. We will re-open Friday December 27 and have apppointments available 7 days a week as we continue the 1/1/2025 open enrollment for those under 65 until December 31,2024.

Finally , January 1st-January 15th consumers can make a final purchase or change plans for Feburary 1, 2025.

Medicare clients:

Part D pharmacy enrollment ; this is the final week to change pharmacy plans, 12/7/2024 is the final day, to select a new plan for January 1,2025.

Individual clients (those under 65 years old):

Open enrollment continues;

You can make changes to plans until 12/31/2024 for a January 1,2025 effective date.

*** Last time for all changes 1/1/2025-1/15/2025 for the final Febuary 1 ,2025 effective date.

We still have appoinemnts 7 days a week . Call us if you wish to make plans changes, etc.
