Job description:
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care to our long-term care and geriatric patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
About us
Water Oak Villa is a 16 bed Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility in Jasper, AL. We are professional, supportive and rewarding.

Responsibilities:
Provide basic nursing care to patients in long-term care facilities.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the physician or registered nurse.
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assist with ambulation and transfers.
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Shift availability:
Night Shift/Evening Shift
Work Location: In person

**As a care partner, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will provide personal care, support daily living activities, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring and supportive relationship.
Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the RN Care Coordinator.
** Qualifications**
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is preferred
Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
