Knee osteoarthritis is extremely prevalent in our world today. It can start as just a little knee pain and progress to more severe disability over time. Finding treatment can be extremely costly, and it doesn't always work. Joint injections mask the pain for a while, but ultimately don't have long term effects. Surgery can be incredibly painful to recover from, and can leave you no better or even worse than previously. Supervised exercise with a physical therapist who is able to π see you one on one and prescribe exercises that you can handle is the best treatment option for moderate OA and has better π outcomes at 1 year than surgery or injections π.

π₯It's going to be too hard. PT's can modify exercises and make them manageable to your body.
π₯It's not going to work. Physical therapy is extremely effective for helping people work through their challenges with movement. Find an awesome PT who can actually spend your treatment time with you.
