Books, Balls, and Blocks Event at The ARC of Walker County located at 745 Russell Dairy Road, Jasper, Alabama. The Event is on Wednesday, August 24th from 10am til Noon.

This is for anyone with children ages 5 and under. We want to see you there.

Free lunch! We serve until we run out of plates. Menu may differ an item or two tomorrow!

4 plates per vehicle UNLESS there are more than 4 in the car. We want everyone to be fed but we also want to make sure everyone who comes leaves with SOMETHING. Please be respectful of our volunteers and help us maintain the 4 plate rule.

We will be having a Cleanup Day tomorrow, April 30, 2022 at the old Parrish High School from 8am til Noon. This will help us prepare to open the NEW Parrish HeadStart Program. There will be indoor and outdoor cleanup activities.

Community partners are sponsoring a Books, Balls and Blocks event at the Resource Day this Saturday, March 19th from 1pm to 5pm in Downtown Jasper at the Courthouse Square.

Books, Balls, & Blocks (BBB) event is free, fun, family community-screening event for families and children (ages birth-5). This event is comprised of various activity stations in which children can engage in developmentally appropriate play while their parents complete a valid and reliable developmental questionnaire to pinpoint their child’s developmental progress. A trained professional will then review the screening results with the parent/caregiver, and provide information and referrals to any support or services that may be needed.πŸ“š
