It is the policy of Rayburn Health and Rehabilitation to admit, make room assignments, and to treat all residents without regard to race, color, national origin, age, s*x, religion, occupation, handicap, or disability, to include blindness or deafness. There is not distinction in eligibility for, or in the manner of providing any resident service provided in or out of the facility. All facilities of the home are available without discrimination to all patients and visitors all persons and organizations having occasion to refer residents for admission or to recommend Rayburn Health and Rehabilitation are advised to do so without regard to the residents’ race, color, national origin, age, s*x, religion, occupation, handicap or disability, to include blindness or deafness. Residents needing post hospital rehabilitative will be admitted to this facility provided that their needs can be met either directly, or in cooperation with community resources with which the facility has contracted. Residents suffering from psychiatric problems, alcoholism and other drug addiction, tuberculosis, or other communicable diseases are not admitted unless approved by the resident care committee or by the Texas Department of Human Services. Every resident must have a designated attending physician of choice upon admission, with their choice of upon admission, with their choice of alternate.
