The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released a Proposed Rule for the Calendar Year (CY) 2026 Home Health Prospective Payment System (HH PPS) that would slash payments to Medicare Home Health Agencies (HHAs) by more than $1 billion nationwide, with devastating consequences for access to care in Texas.
