Our mission at Shadescrest Health Care & Rehabilitation Center is to provide short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in a safe, comfortable, and respectable environment. We strive to enable each of our residents to achieve their best personal level of emotional, spiritual and physical wellness. Our 107 bed facility encourages and nurtures residents, family and staff while enhancing the dignity and lifestyle of each individual. We strive to be a leader in long-term and rehabilitative care and work in partnership with other area agencies and organizations to ensure that all the needs of our residents are carefully and completely met. Shadescrest accepts Private Pay, Medicare and Medicaid, BCBS, UMWA, Tricare, United Healthcare, HealthSprings, Blue Advantage, VA, VA CCN, Respite Care through Hospice, Humana, VIVA, and many other funding sources.
