I am blessed and excited to announce the opening of my private practice, Alexander Counseling and Consulting Services. My vision has manifested with the support of family, friends, and colleagues. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience, I have a distinct passion and an open heart for helping others cope with life’s difficult challenges. During my years of service, mental health, school social work, child welfare, hospice, and home health have all been areas that have contributed to broadening my scope of practice.
My specializations are working with individuals with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Disabilities, and grief/bereavement support. My goal is to utilize my experience and skills to promote, support, and increase mental, behavioral, and emotional health awareness in my community. Alexander Counseling and Consulting Services will equip, empower, and encourage individuals to embrace positive change, by witnessing a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic care environment.
I am currently accepting new patients including children beginning at age 5, adolescents, and adults with in-person and telehealth appointments available. Telehealth sessions will be conducted utilizing a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform. Currently, I am accepting Louisiana Health Care Connections, United Health Care, out-of-network, and self-pay, with pending credentialing approval for Healthy Blue, AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, and Aetna.
