🏗️ Construction Update at Maison Teche
Progress is happening every single day, and we couldn’t be more excited to share another look at Cane Creek Rehab coming to life.
This new addition will be a state-of-the-art skilled rehabilitation unit featuring 20 private rooms designed specifically for short-term recovery after illness, injury, or surgery. It will connect directly to our existing building and include a brand-new front entrance for our guests and families.
We are projected to open in October, and watching it take shape has been incredibly meaningful for our team.
When complete, we will be accepting Medicare and most private insurances for skilled stays — allowing more families in our community access to high-quality rehabilitation close to home.
What makes this project even more special is that Maison Teche is privately owned. We’re not a large corporation — we’re a local small business rooted in this community. Every expansion we make is an investment back into the people we serve.
Therapy services inside Cane Creek Rehab will be provided by Cypress Rehabilitation & Consulting, also locally and privately owned — keeping care, jobs, and commitment right here at home.
And it doesn’t stop there — we are also making updates to our existing building, which means even more private rooms will soon be available throughout our facility.
This expansion represents growth, compassion, and our continued promise to provide exceptional care to the families who trust us.
