Helen E. Raling, 98, a resident of Redstone Highlands, Greensburg, formerly of Jeannette, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born February 2, 1928, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Benedict and Marie (Claire) Spore. Helen was a proud graduate of Jeannette High School Class of 1945, and served on the class’s reunion committee. Prior to her retirement Helen was an office manager for Robertson and Allied Trucking Co.’s. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church Jeannette. Helen enjoyed crafts, gardening, bringing her family together with her festive holiday parties, enjoyed spending time at her beach condo (the Nautical Watch), in North Myrtle Beach, SC., where she served as treasurer of the condo’s HOA. She was the founder and leader of the infamous Girls Lunch, and also enjoyed many family trips to Atlantic City.

In addition to her parents Helen was predeceased by her husband R. Dean Raling in 2014; a step daughter Jackie Fisher; sisters, Mary Anne Hosner, and Joanne Winfield; and brothers, Regis and Joseph Spore.

She is survived by her step daughters, Bonnie Lowden (Mark), Susan Raling-Young (Bruce), Nancy Novak and their families; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Helen’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Redstone Hospice, nurses, and staff, for all of their kind and compassionate care.

Friends will be received 4 to 7pm Tuesday in the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 228 North 2nd St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00am Wednesday in the Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Job Foote, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Jeannette Memorial Park, Penn Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Memorial Fund, 615 Division St. Jeannette Pa, 15644, or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN., 38105-9959.
