Bridget Walsh Moore -Missouri Needs Moore, Gregg Bush, and a special appearance from Melanie Stinnett! Big thanks to each of them for joining us! We just learned we will be able to provide a Captioning Link for anyone who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

We are in the process of seeing if it will also work with screen readers and Braille transcription. We'll let you know about that when we know more.

Advocacy Training Alert!

This year is the 25th anniversary of Disability Rights Legislative Day (DRLD). DRLD is an annual rally at the Missouri State Capitol that allows disability advocates to speak and have their voices heard. After the rally, attendees also have the opportunity to meet with legislators.

On Tuesday, February 10th, MODDC will be holding a virtual training to help prepare for DRLD. Join us to learn about:

- Ways to participate
- Tips for advocacy

We’re hosting a “What to Expect” training for DRLD. This training will cover event details and how to talk with state lawmakers.

Please come—even if you’ve been to DRLD many times! We have new accessibility updates, and bus drop-off spots have changed because of construction at the Capitol.

When: February 10 at 11:00 a.m.
