I've been working at Landmark for: 3 years in June.

My favorite thing about my job is: to be able to help people. I specifically like my drug court caseload, participating in activities, taking our house residents to events, and going to conferences.

My biggest goal for the next 5 years is: to get my MAADC II and to buy my own house.

My hobbies are: working out, going trout fishing, and traveling.

& ANOTHER ONE! 🤩

Yesterday, we brought a man into our office wanting recovery. He was battling homelessness and was very unfamiliar with the area. By afternoon time, we had found him a program in another city in Missouri… AND transported him straight there. All within a few hours he went from seeking support in our office to moving into a long-term program.

Thanks to Mike, another one of our incredible volunteers who is committed to making life changing opportunities like this possible (Mike is pictured below, right before he embarked on the trip).

YOU CAN HELP TOO! Through several means:
1. We need drivers! People that are willing to be trained by our staff, use their vehicles, and give of their time to transporting our participants to programs. We offer mileage reimbursement for all transports!
2. Donate so that we continue to have the funds to support this travel, pay program fees, and do so much more to set these individuals up for success.

Meet KeKe. 🤗

KeKe has allowed us to share her story, because it sure is an awesome one! Thanks to our awesome friends at the Missouri River Regional Library who gave her a single ride bus pass, KeKe came into our office on January 7th. She had been in Jefferson City for only 3 days, and had been battling homelessness in surrounding towns for a while. She utilized Jefferson City Room at the Inn while here. Our staff worked with her to address immediate material needs, & began to explore options to face her addiction. Jerica began to drive her back and forth to Room at the Inn, so we could continue our work during the days. We are so excited to share that today KeKe is off to a long-term sober living home in Springfield, MO! An amazing volunteer of ours, Kathy, will be driving her to her new home providing a smooth handoff. We’ve became family over this past week & are excited to continue to support KeKe in her journey… especially when she opens that restaurant she dreams of. 😉🎉

Help us wish a (temporary) goodbye to Miss Josie! Josie has been coming around since September of 2024. She comes on Mondays, bringing LOTS of food & games to create memories with our participants. She volunteers her time, finances, and skills to blessing our community. We are SO thankful for her, & will miss her while she is out for a few months. We LOVE you Josie! 🤍🩷❤️ P.S.: she also brings the most thoughtful door prizes, always paying attention to what is needed such as socks, deodorant, and beanies.

I've been working at Landmark for: 14 months.

My favorite thing about my job is: Helping people. I enjoy talking with clients and bringing a smile to their faces. I try to get them to see the positive things around them and help them with what they need.

My biggest goal for the next 5 years is: To continue to strive to be the best I can be in every area of my life.
