For months, we’ve been working to reach a fair agreement with UnitedHealthcare that protects your access to the doctors and care teams you trust. Unfortunately, UHC’s approach puts that at risk.
If no resolution is reached by December 31, 2025, SSM Health hospitals, clinics, and providers in Missouri may become out-of-network for UnitedHealthcare members. This could mean higher out-of-pocket costs and fewer options for care for patients who rely on us.

UHC earned billions last year, while SSM Health, as a nonprofit Catholic health system, continues to care for all patients, including those most vulnerable. Your voice matters. Patients can call UnitedHealthcare at 866-870-7730 and let them know they want to keep their care with SSM Health. If coverage is through an employer, patients should share concerns with HR.
