Yeah… I’m done with Apple Watches. This Amazfit got delivered to my house on Saturday, November 16 and at 8:05p I took my new watch off of its charger with a 98% battery and this watch has not touched a charger since. Exactly one week later and this watch hasn’t even drained a whole 50%. I was having to charge my Apple Watch twice a day and it didn’t even last me the whole ride from my house to Herman at the end of September.

It’s a game changer!

I can’t wait for MY next massage. That’s right, we practice what we preach so that we can stay capable of doing our job and being useful to YOU 💪 I wish we could all have an insurance-provided, weekly massage to prevent injury and high blood pressure and anxiety and more. I think there’s a reeeeeal big company (😒) that wouldn’t like that too much though… would they 🙄 Eh - we can dream!

🫶 So many of you arrive in my office flustered and hurried and questioning if you really have time for this… I get it. Life is increasingly stressful and I feel it too, big time. But I’m proud of you for making the time. I don’t know what I would do without my semi-regular self-care appointments. Taking time away from your work and family to take care of yourself is ESSENTIAL because outside of being a boss or employee or father or mother or any other… you are a human being. You are a you who needs you things too. Keep at it, friends. 👊

Please be sure you’re talking to your doctor if you’re noticing chronic fatigue or mood swings or anything different from your “normal”. Regular bloodwork and wellness exams are crucial, more so as we age. I can only help with a small part of your overall healthcare.

This might feel familiar to some of you 🤣 Sometimes we have to really be acutely intentional to make progress. Just remember that the universal safe word on my table is “STOP” - so say “ow” or “whoa” or “whyyyyyyyy???” all you want - as soon as you say “STOP”, we stop. You’re the boss 💪
