“Same day crown,” ….but what does that mean?!? 🤔

Traditional crowns mean goopy impressions are taken and mailed to a dental lab, who design and fabricate a crown and mail it back, which means about 3 weeks of waiting! If it ever broke or the design was poor, you’d have to repeat the cycle.

Crowns made at Riverbend are done with a digital scanner (no more goop), the shape and fit are designed by Dr. Slaughter or Dr. Jonas directly, milled in-house by a fancy machine, so patients can go home with their permanent crown within a few hours. If they need to be re-made we still have the digital scan of your mouth.

Dental technology is pretty amazing! Same-day crowns make the patient experience better and we love offering it to our patients.

Monroe is back open! Thank you to all of our patients who maneuvered around the street detours the last few months! And thanks to the City for doing an amazing job with not only the street but also reopening the sidewalks for all to use by installing a beautiful retaining wall in front of the bluffs. Driving to work today was exciting like Christmas morning! 😄

Monroe & Dunklin intersection is open!

Thank you for your patience during the detour and construction of this joint City/County project. Over the next few weeks, please use caution as crews finish work outside the roadway and drivers adjust to the reopened route.

Get to know Dr. Jonas: Joining the Riverbend Dentistry team isn’t his only exciting adventure this summer—he just returned from Harmons, Jamaica with “Won by One Missions” to provide free fillings and extractions to a rural village without access to dental care. They served almost 200 patients as a clinical team of 5. 👏

🎉 The secret is out… your dental office can now serve even more smiles! 🎉 We are proud and excited to welcome, Dr. Jonas Miller, to the Riverbend Dentistry family.

Dr. Jonas, and his wife, Lexy, are excited to return to Jeff City. Dr. Jonas graduated from Helias High School (as did Dr. Slaughter), graduated Truman State University with Honors (as did Dr. Slaughter but from Mizzou), then he graduated with Honors in Oral Surgery from UMKC School of Dentistry! (Dr. Slaughter received a clinical excellence award but, he didn’t get that one!)

Besides their love of dentistry and helping people, they both love the outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, and even cooking outside. (They also both sport a pretty good hair swoosh.) We know he’ll be a great addition to the team!

We can’t wait to introduce you to Dr. Jonas! He’s now accepting patients of all ages: 573.635.6080 😀
