Today was truly an amazing day at Highlands in Jefferson. Many groups, including Hamilton Mill, Presbyterian Church, Kiwanis Club, Jefferson High School students, and more, answered a call for a community service project set up by a dear lady named Sherry, who organized the whole event. She had collected donations since last Christmas and brought in a truckload of decor, which everyone helped put up to decorate the building and residents' doors, making the place look amazing!! We were very excited and very grateful. Although there's still a little work to be done, the place is already festive, bright, and cheery. Thank you again to everyone who participated in today's event!!
