Today our first flock of robins since last fall flew in for a visit. They checked out the crab apple tree then searched for worms in the field. This is a video from outside the studio. Welcome back!

In today's yoga class we used the beautiful flute playing by Rolfe Richter of the Passamaquoddy people to accompany meditation. He produced this marvelous CD in 2005 entitled "Dreamwalker". Forging into February with Yoga Classes. As of today, 46 days until spring!

For today's yoga class on one of the coldest days of the year (5 degrees F), we focused on tomorrow night's full Snow Moon and its invitation for tranquil meditation. We have more than a foot of snow now and it is lovely on the fields and woods in Maine especially in the moonlight. We used this Snow Moon YouTube for our meditation soundtrack. It comes from a lovely site with more thoughts on the snow moon and midwinter. Stay warm, all.
