Starting inpatient treatment may feel overwhelming and you may be filled with questions, and that’s completely okay.
One of the most common questions we hear is, “How long will my stay be?” The answer is that every patient’s journey is unique. Length of stay is based on individual needs, treatment progress, and personal motivation. Our care team works closely with each patient to review progress and create a strong, individualized discharge plan.
Inpatient treatment is just the first step. Before leaving, we partner with patients to develop a personalized aftercare plan and schedule follow-up appointments to ensure continued support.
For many patients, stepping down into our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is part of that plan — helping maintain the gains made during inpatient treatment while continuing structured support.
Healing doesn’t stop at discharge. We’re here every step of the way.
We are available 24/7 to assist you. Call 812-284-8000 or visit www.wellstonehospital.com to learn more.
