✨Happy birthday to Beth✨

A beloved midwife, a trailblazer, and a guiding strength behind Tree of Life.

Even in retirement, she remains the backbone and pioneer of the beautiful birth culture our community now celebrates throughout Southern Indiana and the Louisville area.

We celebrate you, Beth, and we are so grateful for you!

The first picture is a favorite shot from her retirement party last fall.

Yesterday afternoon we had the sweetest time celebrating Christmas together at Tree of Life 🎄✨

We are beyond grateful for every member of our WomanCare office—our midwives, nurses, medical assistants, front office, call center, and behind-the-scenes staff who faithfully show up each day with compassion, excellence, and heart.

This season reminded us how special it is to pause, laugh, and enjoy one another outside of the busy rhythms of caring for families. What a gift this team is, and what an honor it is to work alongside people who truly make WomanCare what it is 🤍

We are so proud to share that Tree of Life Family Birth Center has been recognized in the 2024 ACNM (American College of Nurse-Midwives) Benchmarking Report for outstanding outcomes in multiple categories — among hundreds of midwifery practices nationwide.

This recognition is especially meaningful because ACNM is the gold standard of midwifery excellence in the United States, gathering nationwide data to highlight practices that provide the safest, most family-centered care.

🌿 Tree of Life was recognized for exceptional outcomes including:
✅ Intact perineum rates
✅ Low rates of severe perineal lacerations (3rd/4th degree)
✅ Low rates of low-birth-weight babies
✅ Low NICU admission rates
✅ High breastfeeding continuation at 6 weeks postpartum
✅ High postpartum visit attendance

These metrics reflect what matters most —
✨ healthy moms, healthy babies, and empowered births ✨

To be highlighted among high-volume birth centers across the country is an incredible honor, especially as a team committed to individualized, evidence-based, compassionate care.

We are deeply proud of our families, our midwives, our nurses, and every hand that comes alongside the families we serve.
Because of you — these outcomes are possible.

Thank you for trusting us with your most sacred moments.
We are humbled + grateful to continue this work. 💛
