We are so proud to share that Tree of Life Family Birth Center has been recognized in the 2024 ACNM (American College of Nurse-Midwives) Benchmarking Report for outstanding outcomes in multiple categories — among hundreds of midwifery practices nationwide.

This recognition is especially meaningful because ACNM is the gold standard of midwifery excellence in the United States, gathering nationwide data to highlight practices that provide the safest, most family-centered care.

🌿 Tree of Life was recognized for exceptional outcomes including:
✅ Intact perineum rates
✅ Low rates of severe perineal lacerations (3rd/4th degree)
✅ Low rates of low-birth-weight babies
✅ Low NICU admission rates
✅ High breastfeeding continuation at 6 weeks postpartum
✅ High postpartum visit attendance

These metrics reflect what matters most —
✨ healthy moms, healthy babies, and empowered births ✨

To be highlighted among high-volume birth centers across the country is an incredible honor, especially as a team committed to individualized, evidence-based, compassionate care.

We are deeply proud of our families, our midwives, our nurses, and every hand that comes alongside the families we serve.
Because of you — these outcomes are possible.

Thank you for trusting us with your most sacred moments.
We are humbled + grateful to continue this work. 💛

✨ One of the qualities that was mentioned over and over again at Beth’s retirement party was her love for teaching. She has always been so open, patient, and passionate about giving students the opportunity to learn from her. Beth is not only a gifted midwife, but also a gifted teacher. ✨

This weekend we had the joy of welcoming nursing students from Ivy Tech! They toured Tree of Life and joined us for our very first Gather at the Tree event. 🌳

We love getting to open our doors to students—nursing holds so many incredible opportunities, and we are always grateful to share a glimpse of birth center life.

Thank you, Ivy Tech, for taking the time to come out and be part of such a special day!
