A couple of announcements!

All Scott County services are now being delivered at the Austin office. The Scottsburg office has closed. The Austin office is located at 2277 W. Frontage Road and can be reached at 812-413-3605.

The English office in Crawford County has new operating days/hours:
Monday - Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
*closed for lunch 12:00 – 1:00 PM*
Open Access: Tuesdays 2:00 – 6:00 PM

We need your help! The 340B Drug Pricing Program is a federal program that allows health centers, like LifeSpring, purchase certain prescription medications at a lower cost. This allows us to then offer these medications to patients a significant discount.

There is currently a bill proposed in the Indiana Legislature that would significantly reduce the amount of 340B funds that healthcare facilities could receive. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and non-profit, we are requesting an exemption from this proposal from FSSA/OMPP.

If you'd like to help, you can call or email the Governor's office and/or the Secretary of the Family and Social Services Administration and urge them to include an exception in the proposed 340B Drug Program for FQHCs. The deadline for public comment is Friday, March 27th at 5:00 pm.

The LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana’s annual scholarship essay contest is now open! 📝

The LifeSpring Foundation is accepting applications for our 8th Grade Essay Contest and High School Senior Scholarships for 2026.

Eligible students must attend school in Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, Spencer, or Washington County (IN).

🏆 Awards include:
• $100 essay award for one 8th grader per county
• $500 scholarship for one graduating senior per county

🗓️ Deadline: April 1, 2026

We're celebrating these men in the Scott County Jail who recently completed the six-week course of "Seeking Safety", a curriculum for those with PTSD and substance use. They're pictured with LifeSpring Therapist, Shonita Flamion, who reports they are all very committed to their recovery! Congrats! 🎉
