Shaze Medical Group We are a small locally owned doctor's office located in the old medical plaza in Jeffersonville, IN.

Our goal is to provide excellent patient care to all of our patients. Always accepting new patients and most insurances are accepted.

WHAT DOES A M.A (Medical Assistant) DO??
*Using computer applications & answering the telephone
*Welcoming patients and preparing patients for examinations including taking medical histories and vital signs.
*Updating and filing patient medical records
*Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory/testing (including getting authorizations) services
*Handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, billing, and bookkeeping
*Assisting the physician during examinations
*Preforming, collecting, and preparing laboratory specimens
*Preparing and administering medications including intramuscular
*Transmitting prescription refills as directed
*Taking electrocardiograms

We are looking for a part time medical assistant. As our office grows we will like to turn the position into a full-time position. You will be doing front and back office work.

Hello everyone,
Due to COVID-19, our office hours will be Monday. Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am-4:30 pm. We will be closed on Wednesday and Friday until further notice. Also, we are now doing telemedicine to help serve our patients in this time of need. This means we will be able to do your appointment over the computer/phone. This will help ensure the health of our patients and staff. If you are showing any signs of COVID-19 please call 877-826-0011 to reach the Indiana Department of Health Hotline. Please, everyone, stay inside if at all possible. We all need to work together to stop this virus in its track.
