Thank you to Starlight Distillery and Huber's Orchard and Winery for another successful Pink Bottle Release fundraiser supporting Norton Cancer Institute Pat Harrison Resource Center. 💖 The funds raised from a portion of the sales from Starlight Distillery's "Pink Bottle" release raised $4,700 that was donated to the resource center to support breast cancer research and services.

This is the fourth year for the "Pink Bottle" release and supporting the local resource center. In total they have donated more than $23,000! Thank you for your continued support! 🎀

Beth Adams’ journey in health care began in a nursing home, where she developed a deep appreciation for caring for older adults and even considered a master’s degree in gerontology. Although that path wasn’t in the cards, she quickly found her calling elsewhere.

In January 1985, she joined Norton Clark Hospital as a medical/surgical nurse. Just two years later, colleagues encouraged her to give the intensive care unit (ICU) a try, and it turned out to be a perfect fit. Six-and-a-half years into her ICU career, she transitioned to the day shift and has been making an impact there ever since.

Beth recalls a time when getting hired at the hospital often came down to who you knew, and she’s grateful she had a connection to help open that door. Reflecting on her career, she considers joining Norton Healthcare one of the best things that’s ever happened to her. To Beth, the “big blue N” is more than a logo; it’s her shining star.

Thank you, Beth, for 40 years of heartfelt service and dedication. 🥰

Wear pink and join us for a FREE community event dedicated to breast cancer awareness and education! 💓 This special evening is designed to inform, educate, and empower individuals about breast health and the importance of early detection.

Learn about risk factors and screening guidelines, get a personalized look at your breast cancer risk, and take home resources to help you make informed choices. Light refreshments will be provided.

It takes heart! ❤️ Norton Clark Hospital would like to say a BIG thank you to Scouting America Troop 4010 for completing a service project on our hospital campus! Over 100 hearts were re-painted along our Heart Walk.

Our staff has remarked on how great our new hearts look. Our campus Heart Walk is a great resource allowing employees to stay active and heart healthy while getting some fresh air during their work day! Thank you, Troop 4010!

Congratulations to our latest DAISY Award winner, Carlos Ballesteros, RN! 🌼🎉 Here is what Carlos' nominator shared:

"I came into the ER very sick after fainting and needed quite a bit of treatment to save my life. I needed lots of IVs, blood, tests, and meds. I was sent to the Med Surg unit where several assisted me, but the standout was Carlos. He took exceptional care of me. He was involved in making sure I was better, my care plan followed, and worked well with my doctors.

I feel with Carlos that I had an advocate because I was here at the hospital by myself, and I feel that he was always looking out for my best interest, going above and beyond. As I had all kinds of pain and struggled in the middle of the night, Carlos was right there for me. I could tell that he cared deeply, so the hospital is very fortunate to have him taking care of patients. He will go above-and-beyond for his patients, and he actually makes this hospital a better place."

Congratulations, Carlos! Thank you for all you do! 💙

🍷✨✈️ Sip, Savor, Soar took off for its second year and what a night it was! Benefiting the NICU at Norton Clark Hospital, more than 200 guests enjoyed tastings from 25 incredible food and drink vendors at the ASI Private Flite Hangar at Clark Regional Airport. Huge thanks to our presenting sponsors Abel Construction Company, Advance Ready Mix Concrete, and McMahan Group for helping make this night unforgettable!

🌸 Starlight Distillery kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a meaningful way by launching this year’s single barrel selection in support of the Norton Cancer Institute Pat Harrison Resource Center at Norton Clark Hospital.

This year’s event also honored Pat Harrison, breast cancer survivor and namesake of the Resource Center, whose strength continues to inspire so many. 💖

A portion of every bottle sold benefits the center, which provides free emotional support and wellness services to cancer patients all made possible through the Norton Healthcare Foundation.

Cheers to hope, healing, and honoring every fighter. 🥃🎗

🍂 Fall is officially here, and we kicked it off with a whole lot of fun at our annual Fall N’ to Fun event!

From smiles and laughter to delicious food and friendly games, it was a day to remember. Huge shoutout to our amazing Food & Nutrition team for the meal and to our hospital leaders for serving it up 💛
