Thomas Wade Siler, age 61, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on December 13, 2025, at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom Siler and Sylvia Worley and his stepparents, Jewell Siler and Ernest Worley. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Siler of Richmond, Indiana; one brother, Jeff Siler (Pam) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, two nephews, Matthew Siler (Shanda), of London, Kentucky, and Shawn Siler (Mollie), of Corbin, Kentucky, two nieces, Lisa Siler (Mike), of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Melissa Hamby (Paul), of Rockholds, Kentucky, one great-niece, Ashley Brown, four great-nephews, Tristin Siler, Bryson Hamby, Arryson Hamby and Quinn Siler. He is also Survived by a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Service 2:00 pm Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, Tennessee with Rev. Rocky Brown officiating. Celebrating the Life of Jean Lovenna Proffitt
Jean Lovenna Proffitt, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Cumberland Village Healthcare in Lafollette, Tennessee. Born on October 18, 1938, in Jellico, Tennessee, Jean was the cherished daughter of the late Clarence King and Eva (Mefford) King. Her life was filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family and friends.
Family and Legacy
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence John Proffitt Sr.; two sons, Lawrence John “Larry” Proffitt Jr. and infant Warren Jeffery Proffitt; grandson, Warren Cusick; granddaughter, Cynthia Walden; brother, Clarence King Jr.; and sisters, Ollie (King) Blankenship and Anna Lee (King) Leach. Their memories remain forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved them.
Jean’s legacy continues through her surviving children: Cynthia Dianne Proffitt, Vera Lynn (Proffitt) White, Stuart Anthony Proffitt and wife Sara, and Lee Ellen (Proffitt) Prater. She is also survived by a large and loving family including grandchildren Shaun Russell, Sonya Rae (Sunny) Russell, Shane Cobb, Cameron Wilder, Dominic Proffitt, Chelsea Proffitt, Tony Proffitt, Adrienne Proffitt, Wesley Proffitt, Brianna Proffitt, Ethan Proffitt, Luke Barton, Douglas Walden, Anthony Walden, and Danielle Walden. Her joy grew with each generation, and she was blessed with great-grandchildren Destinee Elkins, Harley Cusick, Mariah Durbin, Kyle Bullock, Kaydee Russell, Konnor Russell, Ryler Dodson, Ally Siler, Camron Wilder, Waylon Wilder, Channing Proffitt, Colby Lawson, Caden Lawson, Griffin Proffitt, Dawson Proffitt, Michael Creech, Savannah Owens, Madison Daniel, Raigan Proffitt, Jordan Bowlin, Chandler Walden, Isaac Huddleston, Salem Rose Cobb; and great-great-grandchildren Josephine Annalise Silcox, Jaxson Dobbs, Carver Dobbs, Zora Blake Silcox, Scarlett Holman, Harley Proffitt, Adalynn Proffitt, River Jewell, sisters, Mary Ellen (King) Griffith, Deloris Faye (King) Godsey and Clara Elizabeth (King) Buhl. Jean also leaves behind a host of other family and friends who will mourn her passing and honor her memory.
Service Arrangements
The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, Tennessee. Rev. Randy Bargo will officiate the service, with special singing provided by Mr. Reed Elliotte and the obituary read by Luke Barton. Serving as pallbearers Douglas Walden, Anthony Walden, Dominic Proffitt, Shane Cobb, Tony Proffitt and Billy Elliotte. Interment will follow in the Jellico Cemetery.

Carl R. Brown, age 82, of Edwardsburg, Michigan, passed away on December 12, 2025. He was born on October 5, 1943, in Gatliff, Kentucky.

Carl lived a full life marked by dedication, hard work, and a quiet, steady strength. He was deeply committed to his family and the values that guided him throughout his life.

Carl was employed for many years with Uniroyal in Mishawaka, Indiana, and later retired from Nicholas Plastics in Allendale, Michigan, in 2009. He was known throughout his career for his strong work ethic and reliability.

In his free time, Carl especially enjoyed golfing with friends, Notre Dame Football, and cheering on IU basketball—two passions that brought him great joy.

Carl is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Todd Brown, and two sons: Todd (Beth) Brown and Brian (Tonya) Brown. He was a proud grandfather to Colby (Saige) Brown, Kylie (Max) Brown, Jacob Brown, and Kathrine (Jack) Kyger.

In keeping with his wishes, no funeral or services will be held. His family will remember him with love, gratitude, and cherished memories.

Her life was one marked by deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and a gentle spirit that touched all who knew her.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Floyd and Bessie Powers; her loving husband, Virgil Ray Creekmore Sr.; her siblings, Donnie Powers, Winfred Powers, Kathy (Powers) Webster, Deanna (Powers) Kennedy, Annie Powers, Danny Powers, and Mary Lee Powers; and her cherished grandson, Joshua Creekmore II.
Survived by Loved Ones

Rev. Fred R. Cornelius
Age 91 of Jellico, Tennessee (formerly of Monroe, Michigan) passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was born October 15, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rev. Cornelius was the Senior Pastor of the N. Monroe St. Church of God, for 40 years, from 1960 – 2000. He moved to Jellico, Tennessee from 2004-2006 to serve as the General Overseer of the Church of God Mountain Assembly, and then again in 2020 to retire.
He is preceded in death by:

James Alfred Sharp II, affectionately known as "Brother," went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on May 17, 1943, to James Alfred Sharp and Opal Ruth (Silcox) Sharp, James lived a life marked by devotion to his family, friends, and faith.
James was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his cherished grandson, Nathaniel James Sharp. His legacy continues through his devoted son, James Alfred Sharp III, and daughter-in-law, Eileen (Lapak) Sharp. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, J.R. Sharp and Patrice Sharp, as well as a host of extended family and friends who mourn his passing and celebrate the impact he had on their lives.
Known for his warmth, wisdom, and humor, James touched the hearts of all who knew him. Family gatherings, shared stories, and steadfast support were hallmarks of his life. His gentle spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by everyone, fortunate enough to have been part of his journey.

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her husband Donald Gene Lindsay, her son Donald Scott Lindsay, and her brothers Denver Smith, David Smith, and George Smith. Their memories live on through the family and friends who cherished them, as well as through Sue’s enduring legacy.
She is survived by her loving son, Dave Lindsay and his wife Lisa; grandsons Jacob Lindsay, Weston Lindsay, Russell Lindsay (Grace), and Jared Lindsay (Andrea); her cherished granddaughter Brittany Foley and husband Clinton; and her precious great-grandchildren Colton Lindsay, Landon Lindsay, Nora Lindsay, Nevaeh Foley, Emma Foley, Reid Foley, and Kade Foley. Bryan Clayton Worley 60, of Jellico, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2025. He was born on June 30, 1965, in Marshes Siding, Kentucky. Bryan lived a life filled with love, laughter and unwavering devotion to his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clell and Thelma Worley, and one brother, Clell Allen Worley.

Bryan is survived by his loving wife Gigi Worley; his cherished stepdaughters, Kayla Creekmore, Autumn Davenport and husband Trey, and Holly Creekmore; and his son, Jayden Worley. He is also survived by his sister, Becki Kilby, nephew, Cory Kilby and wife Cassie, and their daughter, Honesty; as well as his very loved pet Blu and a very special friend Elsie Crawford and her precious great-granddaughter Darci and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Bryan was a loving husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a man of great heart and faith, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. A Life Well-Lived
Lee’s life was marked by profound love and devotion to his family and friends. He was a man of enduring faith and compassion, always offering kindness and support to those around him. His wisdom and gentle spirit touched countless lives throughout his 85 years.
Family and Loved Ones
Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Martha Ann (Ayers) Adkins, his dear son, Tommy Adkins and his infant brother James Adkins. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his surviving family:
