Gary Duane Knowlton 73, born on April 19, 1952, in Jellico, TN, passed away on January 29, 2026. Known for his loving nature, Gary lived a full and vibrant life, making his home in Corbin, Kentucky. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. His warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew him, and his memory will undoubtedly continue to be a comforting presence in the lives of his family and friends.

Gary is survived by his devoted wife, Lanette of Corbin, KY, and his cherished children, Stephanie Hughes (Gregg) of Jellico, TN, Jason Faulkner (Stacey) of Corbin, KY, and Carla Powers of Berea, KY.
His loving legacy will live on through his grandchildren, Brittany Bowlin (Koby), Heaven Hughes (Silas), Josh Richardson (Stephanie), Bradley Faulkner (Britnee), Allie Powers, and Chase Powers; and his great-grandchildren, Easton Bowlin, Kolton Bowlin, Paxton Bowlin, Sutton Bowlin, and Emily Richardson.
Gary also leaves behind his sister, Suzan of Knoxville, TN,, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends who will mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melville Herbert Knowlton and Ethel Lillian (Jones) Moore, his first wife, Sharon Knowlton, and his brother, Chris Knowlton.

A private service will be done at a later date.
